In addition to my art practice, I carry out research into 3d digital imaging of living plant specimen for applications in citizen science and digital archival for iDigBio via the Austin Mast workgroup at Florida State University. Recent work has been published in the Botany Society of America's journal "Applications in Plant Sciences".  Paper available here. 

Current work is focused on implementing machine learning in photogrammetry pipelines for field capture scenarios.
